What is Ayurvedistry

Ayurvedistry™ is our way of bridging two worlds: the time-honoured wisdom of Ayurveda and the precision of modern chemistry. Ayurveda has spent thousands of years teaching us how nature can nourish skin and hair, and today’s science lets us understand why it works and how to make it work better. We bring the two together in every formula, honouring the rituals we grew up with while holding them to rigorous, conscious standards of performance and care. Guided by our board of dermatologists, trichologists, cosmetic chemists and Ayurvedic practitioners, Ayurvedistry™ is a new kind of beauty, rooted in heritage and backed by science.

Our Wild Promise

  • Best-in-class ingredients, chosen for what they truly do for hair and skin.
  • Expert-formulated, with dermatologists, trichologists, chemists and Ayurvedic practitioners.
  • Tradition, reimagined with disruptive science.

Dr. Sangitha Khosla

For over 40 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of skin, scalp and hair health, combining the timeless principles of Ayurveda with modern dermatological science. I’ve always believed that healthy hair and skin reflect overall wellbeing and are never just cosmetic concerns. That’s why I approach care holistically, looking beyond symptoms to understand the root cause and support long-term health.

That’s also what resonates with me about Indē Wild’s philosophy: that tradition and science don’t have to be a choice, and are stronger together. Authentic Ayurvedic ingredients and rituals, trusted for generations, are thoughtfully enhanced through modern research and science. Rituals like pre-wash oiling and scalp massage are a reminder that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp and consistent, intentional care. To me, it’s about helping a new generation rediscover time-honoured Ayurvedic rituals.

When evaluating a haircare or skin care product, I think it’s important to look beyond individual ingredients and understand how different actives address the multiple factors involved. What stands out about inde wild is that the thinking is visible: the actives are named, the concentrations are shared, and each product is designed around a specific concern.

What I think is very important is bringing together ingredients with complementary roles, rather than relying on a single active. Ultimately, it’s about understanding the science behind the ingredients and how they’re intended to work together to support scalp and hair health.

What I appreciate about Indē Wild, from my perspective as a biologist and cosmetic chemist, is the attention to formulation beyond simply highlighting individual ingredients. Across the products I’ve evaluated, there’s a thoughtful balance between traditional beauty practices, modern cosmetic chemistry, and the sensory experience of using skincare and haircare.

Whether it’s the elegant anhydrous delivery system of the Sunset Restore Bakuchiol Serum, the combination of immediate optical brightening and skin-supportive ingredients in the Luminary Eye Concentrate, or the use of lipid-rich oils with established hair-fiber benefits in the Champi Hair Oil, I see intentional formulation choices that extend beyond ingredient trends.

To me, that’s what makes a cosmetic product compelling: not just what ingredients are included, but how they’re brought together to create a cohesive, functional, and enjoyable formulation.

Tiffany Hall

indē wild really stands out to me for how it brings traditional Ayurvedic rituals into modern haircare. As a trichologist, I'm always looking at hair and scalp health beyond just the cosmetic result, and I love that the brand encourages people to slow down and be more intentional with how they care for their hair.

The Champi Hair Oil is a particular favourite of mine, making the ritual of pre-wash oiling incredibly accessible for modern routines. I also love the MSS for its focus on scalp health, the foundation of healthy hair, and the Sleek Stick for a polished finish.

For me, indē wild's "ayurvedistry" is a beautiful example of centuries-old Ayurvedic rituals made modern, pairing time-honoured ingredients with a smart mix of actives. Haircare should feel like a ritual, not simply another step in your routine.
